If your organization works closely with Ceeva, you may know the names and faces of our employees. However, there’s much more to learn about the people who help Ceeva operate smoothly. That’s why we’re running a series of employee spotlights.

Today, we’ll get to know more about Dave Isadore. He sat down to talk with us about his favorite Pittsburgh activities, his ideal vacation spot, and what he loves about working at Ceeva.

Let’s learn more about Dave!

1. What’s your name?

Hey, I’mDave Isadore!

2. What’s your job title?

I’m the Customer Success Manager for Ceeva.

3. What does your position entail?

I like to define my job by what I’m not. I’m not a salesman, and I’m not a technical resource for our customers like our engineers. My job is everything outside of those roles.

Basically, I’m responsible for holistically managing our customer relationships and ensuring Ceeva delivers on our promises. I serve customers as a central point of contact and escalation point for high-priority issues.

I also ensure our customers feel understood and heard, whether I’m smoothing over a difficult situation or sitting down for a check-in meeting.

I always tell my customers they can reach out to me with any question, comment, or concern. If I don’t have the answer, I’ll make sure their concern gets into the right hands.

My customers' success is my success, and I support that in any way I can.

4. How long have you worked at Ceeva? And what was your background before joining?

I’ve worked at Ceeva for a little over a year. Before taking this role, I worked at a number of SaaS companies, all in the Customer Success space.

This is my first time working for a company that’s local toPittsburgh. I’ve lived here my whole life and love working with people in the Pittsburgh area! Working with clients and colleagues who live in my hometown makes me feel more connected to my work.

5. What’s one surprising thing about being a Customer Success Manager at an IT MSP?

I’d say the wide array of challenges and questions I face on a daily basis. This is my first time working at a smaller organization, and as a result, I get to take on unique challenges.

At Ceeva, there’s a clear focus on doing what needs to be done to ensure our customer’s needs get met. As a result, I jump into whatever comes my way. It keeps me on my toes! I enjoy the fact that I never know what’s coming next.

6. How would you describe the Ceeva team in two to three sentences?

We’re a very transparent, close-knit, and supportive working team. We all share a common goal to do our very best for our customers. Every day we discuss how to work together to meet our client’s needs. Everyone at Ceeva wants to succeed together!

7. What’s your favorite attraction or hang-out spot in Pittsburgh?

I love to go hiking at McConnell’s Mill with my dog. It’s about an hour north of Pittsburgh, in Butler, PA, and features an old mill on Slippery Rock Creek. It’s one of my favorite spots.

I also love South Park Golf Course – I golf almost every weekend.

8. What show or movie are you currently obsessed with?

While I’m not a big movie or TV person, I’m a huge pro wrestling fan – so that’s what you can find me watching.

9. If you could pick one place in the world to vacation for a week, where would you go?

Australia. I think I’d enjoy seeing the Opera House and swimming around the Great Barrier Reef. I also like spending time outdoors at home, especially with my dog, so I’d like to vacation somewhere that’s outdoors-oriented.
